Dot Transportation to Begin Construction on Tennessee Distribution Center

Dot Transportation is thrilled to announce the location of our 13th North American distribution center: Manchester, Tennessee!

Ground-breaking is scheduled for late summer with an estimated completion date slated for fall of 2023.

The 177,000 square foot distribution center will eventually bring upwards of 250 jobs to the community with driver hiring as the initial focus. While the facility is under construction, we’ll establish a terminal location in the community. Driver jobs have already been posted and office positions are expected to be posted in 2023. With a population of roughly 11,000, Manchester is approximately the midway point between Nashville and Chattanooga. Manchester is also the famed home of the iconic Bonnaroo Music Festival which attracts the biggest names in music as well as 80,000 to 100,000 eager fans every summer.

Manchester will be the second Tennessee distribution center after Dyersburg which opened in 2015. Tennessee is also home to terminal locations in Chattanooga, Nashville, and Memphis.
