US to Canada Transborder Operations
It’s a great privilege for me to announce that starting August 3, 2020, we’ll have U.S. drivers and trucks running cross border into Canada! They will be bringing supplier freight to the Brampton distribution center (DC) and returning to the U.S. with Dot-managed purchase orders (PO). This process will give us greater control over our inventory fulfillment at the DCs and position Dot to be able to flex capacity as volume increases while at the same time managing and controlling cost.

Our Dot Foods Idaho fleet has won the President’s Award four out of the last five years. Even though they’ve often had other distribution centers (DC) nipping at their heels, they’ve remained front-runners and brought home the trophy!
