Dot’s co-founder, Robert Tracy (RT), honorably served our country during World War II. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on December 7, 1942. For this reason, we diligently honor military veterans and have increased our veteran hiring tenfold in the last 10 years.

United States Army: Tony Prewitt
Meet Tony. After 29 years of active, guard, and reserve time with the Army, Tony decided to retire. Fast forward six years and Tony and his wife, Jody, became a driving team with DTI.

United States Army: Brian Murphy
Meet Brian. Brian is a part of the 168th Military Police Battalion in Dyersburg, Tennessee. When Brian is not deployed, he is a part of the Dot Foods Tennessee driving team. When he is deployed, he is still considered to be employed by DTI, and his driving position will be waiting for him in Dyersburg when he completes his military service.

United States National Guard: Terry Polzien
Meet Terry. He has been with DTI since 2006 after an extensive military career and a diverse driving career. Now a driver trainer, Terry works hard to contribute to the Dot Experience “where everyone treats everyone they meet like family.”

United States Army: Robby Case
Meet Robby. Robby will be one of the first to tell you that the Core Values from the Army have a strong correlation to how Dot operates each day. Learn more about Robby’s journey from the Army to becoming a driver trainer with DTI.

United States Navy: Jose Lopez
Meet Jose. Jose was able to take advantage of GI Bill benefits to attend driving school and embark on his career as a professional driver after his 14 years of service. Jose is still in the Naval Reserves and drives for Dot when he isn’t deployed.

United States Army: Chris Witte
Meet Chris. Chris has always had a love of training. From being a drill sergeant to now being a driver trainer for Dot Foods Indiana—mentorship runs strong through Chris.

United States Marine Corps: Joel Fischer
Meet Joel. After a full career in the Marines and then 25 years working as a Class B CDL driver, Joel joined the DTI team as a full-time customer delivery specialist (CDS).
