Activity-Based Pay: Get Paid for Every Part of the Job
Being a truck driver is hard work—you should be compensated for that. That’s why we ensure our truck drivers get paid for every part of the job through activity-based pay. This means you’ll earn some sort of compensation for each activity you complete on the road. This pay structure looks different from what you may see at other transportation companies, but it sets us apart and shows our emphasis on appreciating every single task you do, including:
- Mileage—empty and loaded
- Drop and hook
- And more!

No matter what you value most, Dot has a schedule option and driver type for you. Don’t want to touch freight? We have no-touch jobs for that. Want to be home more? Check out our four days on, four days off schedule. Want to make the most money possible while on the road? Our traditional schedule and delivery driver job would be best for you.
