For the sixth consecutive year, Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) has been named a “Top Company for Women to Work For in Transportation” by Redefining the Road, a publication put out by the Women in Trucking (WIT) organization. DTI has been named to the list every year since the accolade was founded in 2018.

This award was created to promote the accomplishments of companies focused on empowering women in the trucking industry. Honorees are recognized in part for celebrating gender diversity, promoting family and life balance, and offering competitive compensation and appropriate benefits to employees. Winners must have been nominated by someone within the industry and collected enough votes to be considered. The list of honorees was published on October 30.

“Dot Transportation has demonstrated that it places a significant importance on gender diversity as part of its business strategy and is to be commended for the work in diversity that it is doing,” said Brian Everett, group publisher and editorial director of Redefining the Road.

DTI is proud to be considered a top company for women in the transportation industry. We believe in supporting our drivers, garage employees, and transportation professionals by offering best-in-class benefits, excellent pay, and flexible work schedules that allow our employees to manage work-life balance.

“At DTI we work hard to be inclusive of all individuals including females,” said Duskee Kassing, senior director of operations for DTI. “We continually work to improve existing and add programs that give females opportunities to develop themselves, progress their careers, and participate in leadership activities and mentor others.”

Overall, we are honored to be recognized by WIT for our diversity and inclusion efforts. Creating a safe and developmental space for women to work in transportation is essential to all of us at DTI, and we are grateful to be acknowledged by an industry leader for our initiatives. It’s our honor to hold this distinction for a sixth year in a row.
